What are Arthrosamid
Arthrosamid is an injection that contains polyacrylamide hydrogels (iPAAG). This injection embeds itself into the knee joint membrane to help decrease the joints inflammatory response. Arthrosamid does not break-down like other injections and therefore can provide long term benefit.

When injected into the knee, Arthrosamid acts as a permanent cushioning layer within the joint lining.

The risk, as always, includes the injection process itself. To minimise this risks Arthosamid is administered in conjunction with anti biotics and the use of sterile equipment and ultrasound guidance. The risk of complication is very low.
